How to Prompt
Use the search bar at the bottom to enter your prompt. Citations and related questions are included with every response.
Switching Modes
Use the filter button on the search bar to switch between Magisterial and Scholarly mode.
Magisterial mode consists of official Church teaching only. Scholarly mode includes Church teaching, but also wider Catholic theological and philosophical reflections from people like St. Thomas Aquinas, St. Augustine, and other Fathers/Doctors of the Church. It also includes the Bible and important Biblical commentaries.
Using Advanced Prompt Mode
Use the filter button on the search bar to select the type of documents the AI should reference when searching.
Useful for those who wish to limit their query results to documents like the Conciliar documents of Vatican II or papal encyclicals, etc.
Searching for a Specific Document
Use the “Source Library” feature to search the AI’s knowledge base for a specific document.
Magisterium AI’s knowledge base is extensive and always growing. If you’re interested in querying a specific document in Magisterium AI and want to be sure it’s in the knowledge base, this is the place to check. You can search by document title or author.
